Fifth Vaccine; Video; Action for Goldenrod

[The camera is jostling a little as it's switched on, and the first thing people will be able to see is that the camera person is quite a ways off the ground. A smiling Audino and excited silver Eevee pop into view soon after and a bandaged hand comes from behind the camera to wave at them.]

Vitamin D evolved! She's so big now! I can ride her, like my classmates ride their Pokemon!

[And clearly Tsumiki is very excited by this. The camera turns and soon people watching can see the ears and horns of a Sawsbuck.]

I never expected her to get so big...I'm very proud of her!

[From off camera is a somewhat indignant sounding Pika! and the girl moves the camera to a Pikachu standing nearby, chest puffed out, as if asking what about me?]

Oh! I'm sorry, Amiodarone! You evolved too, and I'm very proud of you as well! I'm proud of all of you!

[If there was anything else she wanted to say, a fidgety Vitamin takes that chance away. Soon the nurse is being unceremoniously dumped off the deer Pokemon's back with a loud squawk, the gear falling from her hand and burying in a purple mess of hair. The landing sounded pretty painful and the upset sounds coming from the girl confirms that yes, Vitamin D has gotten very tall.

It's a curious Drowzee that nudges the camera a little, filling it up with her curious face.]

Melatonin...don't do that...

[Just going to roll off her back, reach up and turn off the gear to hide her shame.

Of course that doesn't stop the shame from happening in real time. Approach?]

...I don't think there's any reason...to be proud of me. My Pokemon do all of the hard work...they take on all the battles...they're the ones getting hurt...all I am doing is caring for them when they need it. They've done so much more than I have! They're really amazing...

Joker-san...when is your birthday?

If there's one thing I've caught onta quick while I've been here, it's that this Pokemon business is a team effort. Both with yer Pokemon, and yerself! So if they get some praise, then it's just proper ya get some as well!

[She doesn't say anything to that...mostly because she knows that is technically true. It is a team effort. And she knows her own Pokemon even agree to that.]

[She finally had a birthday party. It was really fun, and she thinks everyone should have one.]

Oh, don't worry! [He hastily puts up his hand in a placating manner- Tsumiki might notice that his wrist is actually bandaged up a bit.] I was just talkin' about the actual date I was born. A replacement one got chosen for me ages ago, Father was real insistent on it. Said a lad outta have a birthday and all that.

[Tsumiki shakes her head a little, looking apologetic as she replies.]

[Especially since she doesn't really recognize you. Worrying a stranger like that...she feels pretty awful for it.]

It's alright, there's no need to be sorry. What about your Sawsbuck? She seemed somewhat... stressed.

[Or perhaps camera-shy, but it's not as if anyone could see most of her.]

Vitamin? [She shakes her head again, moving the camera so Cecil can get a look at the Sawsbuck trying to play with some of the smaller Pokemon.]

She just...wanted to say hi to everyone too I think...she kept nudging the gear after I'd turned it off...

[Like she is coming over to do now apparently. She sees that gear is in use, gotta say hi to all the trainers!!]

Vitamin D just wants to make friends with everyone...

I imagine she'll find that much easier now that she can face the screen herself.

[And face the other Sawsbuck that's now showing up on Cecil's side, right in front of his face. Hey there, lady!

Not that the surprise obstacle stops Cecil from continuing.]

I wonder if she'd be able to turn the gear on by herself even without fingers, with enough practice?

...y-yes...I'm sure she will...

[And she does, perking up even more if possible when another Sawsbuck appears. Hello there! Who are you? Her name is Vitamin D!!]

...She's very creative...and...if nothing else she's very persistent. So I'm sure she will find a way anyway...

[He's Sawsbuck! Because his previous trainer didn't believe in giving them all names! It's nice to meet her, though!]

She sounds like quite the resourceful young deer. The two of you must have a wonderful partnership.

[Whaaaaaat?! But every Pokemon needs a name!! Have you ever thought of giving yourself a name...?]

She really is! And we're very close...she's very important to me, just like all of my Pokemon...I love them all very much.

Is this Sawsbuck yours?

[She finally got a peek at the screen when Vitamin moved her head a little to itch her leg.]

[Why bother? It's not like there's more than one of him around, and thinking of one would be a waste of time.]

It's always good to hear such love for one's Pokémon. This Sawsbuck has indeed been mine since his previous trainer disappeared, but since we live in a large city he rarely has the chance to see others of his species.

[Approach? Y/n/of course.

It's hard not to notice Tsumiki, even without seeing the broadcast, Botan sees her fall over and pauses--then goes to investigate, bag of groceries cradled in one of her arms.]

Tsumiki-chan? Are you all right?

Owowowowowowww.... [The nurse in question is rubbing the back of her head as she sits on the ground, her Pokemon nudging her curiously and with a bit of worry. Though the Eevee peeps at Botan, bounding up to her and pawing at her legs looking for pets.

Tsumiki herself jumps a little, turning to look up and nod at the girl.]

I-I'm fine, Botan-san! S-sorry...I-I didn't mean to interrupt you or anything...

No, no, of course not--I was just--well, it hardly matters what I was doing. [She holds out her free hand to Tsumiki.] Mind if I help out?

[She hesitates a little but gratefully takes her hand and help.]

...I inconvenienced you...I'm so sorry, Botan-san! I'm sorry I'm so clumsy...

Nonsense, you didn't inconvenience me at all. [And as if to prove that, she pats Tsumiki on the shoulder and checks over to make sure there's no visible injury.]

You can't help being accident-prone, that's why your Pokemon are here to support you. [Just like that adorably excitable Eevee.]
