Third Vaccine; Video
[Hey hello hi everyone hi. There is a very excited, very different looking Eevee staring you all in the face right now. And after a lovely shot of blue skies and trees and a little staring, the silver-colored Pokemon gets to work licking the screen. Because hello everyone and everything! She sees you all!]
A-Amelanosis, wait...! [As the owner of the voice approaches, the Eevee looks up and begins to chirp happily. Pretty soon she pulls away from the gear, jumping at the legs of her trainer, who picks both the piece of technology and the Pokemon up with a sigh.]
I'm...sorry if she interrupted anyone...I actually did want to make a post though...i-if no one minds. You can just ignore this if you want though...
[Sitting down, she points the camera at the baby Pokemon now in her lap.]
I-is it possible for...Pokemon to be albino? Or...different colors at all? Because I've seen a few Eevee before and they've all been brown...and in every other species, Pokemon seem to stay the same color so... She took a very long time to hatch too...
Is she okay? Did I do something wrong...?
[Tsumiki sounds genuinely concerned and just a little bit upset as she asks this. There's a couple more moments of a curious looking Eevee on the screen before the feed ends.]

Oh! I understand now...! [Oh but wait you're just--okay. Well hello Phoebe!! She waves back, smiling and seemingly just a little less timid now.]
H-hello. It's nice to meet you...Phoebe, right?
video;
[Phoebe nods, doing a little spin for the camera (and sparkling some more) before plopping down on the table in front of it. She rocks back and forth a little, smiling happily at Tsumiki.]
video;
You're very pretty, Phoebe. And very cute! John-san must take very good care of you.
video;
Sorry about the wait. They were both hiding upstairs. Anyway...
[John takes a seat on the couch, two Umbreons jumping up to take a seat on either side of him. Phoebe, meanwhile, bounds off the coffee table to take her usual spot draped over John's left shoulder. Was that even a jump or did she just float what the actual fuck are Whimsicotts?]
Umbreon is Eevee's dark type evolution. Normally, they look like Lestat. [He pats the head of the rather severe-looking Umbreon to his right.] But if you were to evolve Amet...Am...Amy??? Err...your Eevee would end up looking like Quinn here if you evolved her into an Umbreon. [His other hand rests on the much more pleasant-looking shiny Umbreon to his left.]
video;
A-Amelanosis...I see...
[She smiles a little.]
Y-you're both...very handsome...thank you both for letting me see you...
[A Dark type would be useful...but she's not positive if she wants an Umbreon. She'll have to see the other evolutions.]
video;
[Tsumiki if you were still laboring under the impression that John is a legit nurse, here is your proof that he is not.]
video;
Well maybe he's a certain kind of nurse! Maybe he hasn't learned about this. He at least knew it was something medicine related.]
Ah, amelanosis is another name for albinism. It refers to the complete lack of pigments called melanins found in the body. When there are no melanins to color the skin or hair, it causes them to appear white. It also affects the eyes. Because there is no pigment in the irises, they are essentially clear, allowing you to see the blood vessels behind them. Hence why albinos typically have red or pink eyes. Just as with the skin, their eyes are very sensitive.
video;
Oh! So it's like the proper medical term for albinism then? I do know what that is, at least! I just didn't know there was another word for it. Though I didn't realize that was why their eyes looked pink, just that they were, in fact, pink.
[LEARN SOMETHING NEW EVERY DAY.]
video;
But yes! That is indeed why. Though ocular albinism will sometimes color the irises a pale blue, rather than red or pink. Did you know the melanin are also very crucial to the proper development of your ocular system? Without it, many vision problems are likely to occur, which often afflict those with albinism for obvious reasons.
[.......she pauses for a moment after that. Just for a moment, though.]
...s-sorry! I'm sorry for...rambling on like that...
video;
It's okay! You don't have to apologize. I don't mind at all! I...kind of don't understand some of the stuff you're saying because I'm not...you know, like a doctor or anything but it's interesting!
I have heard that albinism doesn't always result in red or pink eyes, though. That's less common in humans, right? Usually we wind up with light blue or grey while animals end up with pink or red, yeah? Or do I have that wrong.
[He has a friend with red eyes who is not albino, okay he knows some things even though he's not actually a doctor.]
