Tell one another they're happy the other person was born, or that sort of thing...? Something like not trying to tell you all I'm glad you exist wouldn't be possible, I think. There's an included card which...okay apparently she couldn't help herself and it's Buneary Bounce themed and just has a simple happy birthday message, VIDEO GAME CARDS = THE BEST CARDS. ] Happy belated birthday, Tsumiki-san.

[Nanami is equally free to be stunned that Tsumiki is shedding a few tears before she's even gotten to the present. Because she got a birthday card from her friend and that is a Big Deal. And Nanami wants to go do things with her that she's sure will probably bore the gamer girl. And she has a present and this entire thing is a lot for her to wrap her head around.

Once the gift is open though there are even more tears, but they're happy tears, promise! And once the bracelet is on Tsumiki moves to get out of bed, or at least to sit on the edge, so she can give her friend a proper hug.]

Peko has her practice sword on her back (even if she would dearly like to have it in hand) and a newly-hatched Zorua following behind her as she enters the Pokémon Center with Kuzuryuu at her side. Mostly because they couldn't reach an agreement on who should go first.]

Monobear took him to the hospital and patched him up...but he wanted to have breakfast with everyone only a few days after we were allowed to see him. And that wasn't nearly enough time to recover! And then once he was there, when everyone reacted poorly to his greeting, he stabbed himself as Nanami-san said...and he managed to reopen his wounds! There was so much blood...

Ah, he also offered to pay in blood for a promise to me, too...while here. But, I told him just a month of being player two and buying my meals would do if he broke it...

And there's guilt there, too, because even with all her attempts to protect him during her execution, he was still injured to the point where their SHSL Nurse saw fit to yell at him for it.]

I see. [There's a bit of a strangled quality to her voice, but she manages to repress it as she just gives Kuzuryuu a look. They are going to have to have Words later. But she won't say anything against him in front of the others, so she just crosses her arms and faces the other two.]

If the young master thought it a sufficient reason... then I hope his apology was accepted. [She isn't all that sure what he would have been apologizing for that would warrant that but??? Sticking with him.]

[Pekoyama winces as Tsumiki starts crying. It had taken her a long time to realize that the louder he was, the less chance there was of Kuzuryuu actually doing something violent (usually). And with what she'd seen of him so far in Johto... she rather doubted he would do anything to harm either of these two. Or any of their classmates.

Her arms only cross more tightly over her chest as she looks to him for some kind of cue -- she could attempt to calm Tsumiki down, but then she looks to Nanami; looks like that won't be necessary. Seeing him bow to the nurse widens her eyes, and for a moment, she can't do anything but stare. Things certainly have changed. And even if it hurts to have him avoid her eyes, she forces herself to return her attention to the other two girls with a nod.]

What kind of cake would you like? [she asks finally, her fingernails still digging into her bicep as she does her best to not think about all the questions she has to ask Kuzuryuu. Later. She would ensure there would be time for that later.]

[She's no less surprised than Peko by the bow, voice caught in her throat while she tries to figure out what to do or say. Kuzuryuu is bowing to her? Bowing? An apology is one thing but...

The girl wipes her eyes, still sniffling a little but otherwise seems to have calmed down. Apparently shocking her is a good way to get her to stop crying. She still seems pretty subdued though, eyes gluing to her lap once again.]
