[puppetnurse]

[Hey hello hi everyone hi. There is a very excited, very different looking Eevee staring you all in the face right now. And after a lovely shot of blue skies and trees and a little staring, the silver-colored Pokemon gets to work licking the screen. Because hello everyone and everything! She sees you all!]

A-Amelanosis, wait...! [As the owner of the voice approaches, the Eevee looks up and begins to chirp happily. Pretty soon she pulls away from the gear, jumping at the legs of her trainer, who picks both the piece of technology and the Pokemon up with a sigh.]

I'm...sorry if she interrupted anyone...I actually did want to make a post though...i-if no one minds. You can just ignore this if you want though...

[Sitting down, she points the camera at the baby Pokemon now in her lap.]

I-is it possible for...Pokemon to be albino? Or...different colors at all? Because I've seen a few Eevee before and they've all been brown...and in every other species, Pokemon seem to stay the same color so... She took a very long time to hatch too...

Is she okay? Did I do something wrong...?

[Tsumiki sounds genuinely concerned and just a little bit upset as she asks this. There's a couple more moments of a curious looking Eevee on the screen before the feed ends.]

Really? So that's how it works, huh! [He doesn't know what melanin is, but he supposes it makes sense to people who do. The explanation doesn't sound that complicated, after all.] Yer pretty smart, Tsumiki!

[puppetnurse]

E-eh? [Joker, stahp. Stahp with the compliments.]

N-no...not really...only when it comes to medicine. I'm the Super High School Level Nurse so it's my job to know these things but...that's all, really...

[pipers_son]

[Sorry, Tsumiki, he is incapable of not giving compliments. Compliments = smiling people = Joker's goal in life.]

Even if it's just medicine, yer still smart, right? I never even went ta a proper school myself. Ringleadin' is all I'm really good for.

[Well, and other things, but we don't talk about those.]

[puppetnurse]

...I suppose...when you put it like that, then yes. I'm very smart when it concerns medicine and the medical world in general. I can't do everything that a doctor can, maybe, but...I take pride in nursing people to the best of my abilities.

You're the ringleader of the circus...? [She wasn't sure what she'd been expecting him to be really. The owner, maybe. Which, when she thinks about it, probably equates to ringleader anyway...]

[pipers_son]

There ya go! Even if ya ain't a doctor, nurses are still important, yeah?

[At the mention of his circus and his own standing in it, he just grins all the brighter. Back home, it would've been different. He was just a stand-in, then, and every title like 'owner' and 'ringleader' honestly belonged to Father. Still, he always seemed to end up playing the part... and here, he supposes it's the most true it's ever been.]

Yep! When ya come ta visit, I'll be right in the ring with everyone else. I have a lotta ideas that I hope everyone likes. Bein' here with Pokemon sure opens up a lotta new ideas! Oh- [It should be impossible for him to grin this much, but here he is.] And there's good news! Our tightrope walker, my little sister, she just arrived! We're gonna be pickin' her up soon.

[puppetnurse]

[She simply nods, listening as Joker explains. And when he mentions his sister, she smiles a little brighter herself.

His smile is contagious.]

Your little sister is a tightrope walker...are all of your family members performers...? What sorts of acts will Pokemon be able to perform...?

[pipers_son]

Yep! We ain't exactly related by blood- I don't think anyway, although who knows in the streets- but we've grown up and taken care a each other better than most. I can tell ya about 'em if ya like!

And there'll be all sorts. Some a them'll just be helpin' out, but others'll definitely be the main act! I've already got most a mine all ready ta work in the spotlight.

[puppetnurse]

...that must be really nice. If you wanted to talk about them...I'd like to listen. But...only if you want to.

[She's honestly pretty excited for this circus. That's definitely going to be something she's going to go see when it's up and she's able to.]

[pipers_son]

Heh, who doesn't like ta boast 'bout their family? Anyway, 'sides myself, there's seven in the family! There's Snake and Doll, who're here. They do the snakecharmin' and tightrope walkin' respectively.

Back home, there's Beast our animal tamer, Dagger our knife thrower, Wendy and Peter were the acrobats, an' Jumbo was our firebreather! Who would ya like ta hear about first?

[He doesn't want to overload her, after all. It's a big family!]

[puppetnurse]

[Probably a good plan.]

Um...how about Snake and Doll...since they're here?

[pipers_son]

Well, good a start as any, huh?

Doll's the youngest outta the whole first tier- the main acts, ya could say. [Which coincidentally is made up of the family.] She's definitely one a the kinder ones 'round! She's never been one for too much praise even 'tho she's the best tightrope walker anyone could ask for. I think ya would definitely like her if ya got ta meet her! She loves bein' with people. You'll know her when ya see her. [A laugh.] Our accent's a bit similar! We don't pretty it up when we don't have to. She has bangs over one eye too, if that helps.

Snake, now he's a bit more quiet and let's his friends do the talkin'. He has scales on his body in patches, so that's an easy way ta recognize him. He's real smart, 'tho- names all his friends after authors and whatnot. I'm hopin' there's another writin' contest sometime soon that he can enter, I think he'd win. He can talk ta snakes, ya know~.

[puppetnurse]

H-he can talk to snakes...?! [Like, he hisses and stuff? Or does he understand hisses, or...how is that possible?

This is obviously the most important thing here.]

[pipers_son]

Yeah, he understands 'em and everythin'.

...Are ya scared a snakes? I've had ta spend so much time with 'em that I forgot they were scary ta folks...

[puppetnurse]

O-oh...no...I just didn't realize that...people were able to talk to animals...sorry.

[pipers_son]

Nah, it's fine. Wasn't somethin' that was normal back home in England either! Some folks don't even think he can actually do it, but I got more faith in 'im than that.

[puppetnurse]

...that must be challenging...to talk to snakes. All they do is hiss, right...?

[pipers_son]

Yeah, can't figure it out for the life a me. But he seems ta understand 'em just fine, and they understand him right back.

[puppetnurse]

That's...really amazing...

...can I ask about your other family members...?

[pipers_son]

Sure! Told ya I don't mind. Who would ya wanna hear 'bout next?

[puppetnurse]

Um...how...how about Beast? [Let's just go in order.]

[pipers_son]

Oh, Beast's amazin'! She'd adore a place like this- an animal tamer in a place where that's all ya do!

She's a bit strict, and boy is there a temper, but... [There's a pause.] I want all my family here, 'course, but I'm definitely hopin' Beast is one a the next here. She's always tried ta help me with the Circus, and she cares about everyone a bunch.

Ha, it's a bit funny... She'd wanted ta talk with me 'bout startin' up everythin' elsewhere.

[puppetnurse]

...well...maybe...since you are able to set up in Goldenrod now...she will show up. Maybe it's...maybe it's a sign?

[She's trying to be supportive! She's not sure if that's what he'd want to hear but that sounds appropriate...]

[pipers_son]

Heh... I'd like ta think so. Doll showed up right as everythin' started ta roll, after all. And Snake came back when I got ta Goldenrod ta begin with!

Lady Luck might stay on my side for this one!

[Looks like it worked, Nanami! gj, you are getting better at the social thing. Or at least with Joker, who is easy to please admittedly.]
