Third Vaccine; Video

[Hey hello hi everyone hi. There is a very excited, very different looking Eevee staring you all in the face right now. And after a lovely shot of blue skies and trees and a little staring, the silver-colored Pokemon gets to work licking the screen. Because hello everyone and everything! She sees you all!]

A-Amelanosis, wait...! [As the owner of the voice approaches, the Eevee looks up and begins to chirp happily. Pretty soon she pulls away from the gear, jumping at the legs of her trainer, who picks both the piece of technology and the Pokemon up with a sigh.]

I'm...sorry if she interrupted anyone...I actually did want to make a post though...i-if no one minds. You can just ignore this if you want though...

[Sitting down, she points the camera at the baby Pokemon now in her lap.]

I-is it possible for...Pokemon to be albino? Or...different colors at all? Because I've seen a few Eevee before and they've all been brown...and in every other species, Pokemon seem to stay the same color so... She took a very long time to hatch too...

Is she okay? Did I do something wrong...?

[Tsumiki sounds genuinely concerned and just a little bit upset as she asks this. There's a couple more moments of a curious looking Eevee on the screen before the feed ends.]

Sure! Told ya I don't mind. Who would ya wanna hear 'bout next?

[She was about to say something else, but John returned. Sorry Phoebe, you'll have to get more compliments later. She sits quietly and watches, looking between the two Umbreons with a scrutinizing gaze.]

A-Amelanosis...I see...

[She smiles a little.]

Y-you're both...very handsome...thank you both for letting me see you...

[A Dark type would be useful...but she's not positive if she wants an Umbreon. She'll have to see the other evolutions.]

...the...area across the ocean...?

[But she glances at her Eevee at that, nodding.]

That's what I heard...I heard some even evolve because of...their friendship with their trainer... [Which she thinks is remarkable. That Pokemon evolve simply because of how close they are with their trainer...]

All of them...? Well that would give me a lot of different types...which is good for training, right...?

[And the little Pokemon chirps and chatters happily in return. She has a feeling she's the one who is 'darling' and 'a fair lady' and she loves compliments.]

Th-thank you...a-and thank you for reminding me! I...can't believe I forgot about that...I-I'm sorry Amelanosis! [Tsumiki gives the Eevee a hug in apology before looking back to the girl on the screen.]

I will be sure to look after her...!

I-if...i-if you're sure... [She still feels like she's interrupting people when she does this, but for now she'll stop worrying about it.

You've...known a few, Ishimaru-san? That's a relief... [She hugs the Eevee a little, who chirps at the screen in greeting.]

[See, that's what she thought, but the more Pokemon she saw in succession, the more had started thinking they would all be the same color.

There are only so many purple Rattatas you can fight before you just assume they're all going to be purple.]

I-it does...you're right...I'm just worried about later on...diseases can be present before it ever does anything harmful to the body.

[The prettiest! She'll be even prettier whenever she evolves, no doubt.]

You're welcome! I've never seen an Eevee that color before....what did everyone else say? That she's...shiny?

But I think so! I, ah... I don't really have a very wide variation myself so it'd be pretty easy for someone to beat me in a fight with the right Pokemon.

I think they're pretty hard to harm when they're in those eggs anyway!

I've had a few that have taken a while to hatch as well - it's a bit nerve-wracking, but I don't think it's a sign that anything's wrong.

[...okay, there might be something wrong with his Cranidos, but it's also entirely possible that the thing is just hideously stupid and he's starting to suspect that that's the case.]

[There's another soft bark in agreement as Tadami nuzzles her face against Tsumiki's. Yes. Yes, he does. Because her master is absolutely one of the biggest softies you'll ever meet.]

Dunno, maybe it's just another coat pattern. Like how some dogs of the same breed have different coats?

[The Eevee did look rather pretty, she was a little jealous of it.]

I'm sure you've gotten the explanation already, but as an extra reassurance, if there are any problems with shiny Pokemon, I haven't noticed any myself. Through various circumstances, I've found myself with two, and while one of them is... a bit odd, I don't think it has much to do with his coloring.

Neither had I...y-yeah. They say she's a shiny. John-san said it's...because when they hatch or...come out of their Pokeball...or just randomly, they sparkle.

[Which she's starting to notice with Amelanosis, now that she knows to look for it.]

[She's had explanations about "shinies" and the like, but that didn't really explain why they were different colors. Just that, sometimes, rarely, they were.]
