Second Vaccine; Video/Action for Goldenrod

[There is a deer staring curiously at you all today, good people of Pokeland. A Deerling, to be exact, sporting it's winter coat and flicking it's ears back and forth as it watches the camera. Soon there's a happy noise and it runs off, the camera lifting so you can continue watching it as it plays in the sun.]

...h-hello. I...wanted to thank the Breeding Centre...for my Deerling Egg! It hatched, and she's very sweet...and very excitable! I've named her Vitamin D.

[It then drops down to show off an egg.]

I recently purchased a Pichu egg too. Thank you for th-this one as well! But um...th-that's...that's not the only reason I am making a post today.

[As she continues to talk, the camera view wanders over to an Audino, who is sitting with a Rattata, both stuffing their faces.]

I-I assume that there are other...people who are working for the Pokemon Centers...o-other Nurses, perhaps? I was hoping m-maybe I could...talk to you. I-if you aren't busy. I-if you don't want to talk to me, that's okay! I understand!

[This post is obviously taking a lot of effort to get out there. She practiced it several times before putting it up, but it doesn't seem to be helping much at all. As the gear continues to record, the view begins shaking a little. Just barely, but enough to be noticeable.]

I-I...I-I'm sorry if this interrupted you any! P-please feel free to disregard this!

[After that, the video ends.

Anyone in Goldenrod today can find her outside, sitting on one of the benches in Goldenrod for a rest or wandering the streets with her three Pokemon and window shopping for some warmer clothes. Or at least a coat...]

Hm? Oh, it's fine either way. I sort of got the whole "suffixes" thing explained to me a while back, so it's not like I don't get it sometimes. Would you prefer if I used "Tsumiki-san?" That's the one I would do, right...Or would it be Mikan-san?

Tsumiki-san it is, then! I mean, I don't know if enjoyment comes into it...your name is who you are, right?

[ No but seriously did she find negaequius is that what happened here. ]

[A part of her hopes Saionji won't be around when the playdate happens, but she will show up anyway. Even if she is. Because this is Nanami!]

Pokemon legends...? Up in Ecruteak? And fighting types...I don't know if I have seen any fighting types yet. Did you already defeat the first two then...? Gyms, I mean.

[ Nanami's hopes for a birthday party with All Her Classmates will go about as well as any gathering of all the super dangans, if she manages to persuade them, won't they.

And wow, she looks pumped up again. ]

Yes! There's a really cool legend I like in particular...you want to know it, don't you? You want me to tell you, huh?

[ Nanami stop that it's not like this is Hinata and you're talking about an important case clue.

Oh, but the gym thing - Nanami nods, pulling out a case she'd gotten earlier for the badges - it's decorated with skittys. Inside are the badges from Violet and Azalea. ]

Two down.

[Well at least she can count on Tsumiki to put forth her best effort...]

Actually yes please. I am very interested, especially if Nanami-san is so excited about it! And congratulations!

[Nanami that case is super cute. Of course your badge case would be so cute.]

...Say, Tsumiki, do ya think those Breeding Center guys have Voltorb eggs? Since we're here for a while, I might as well get more of the things.

[Yes, things. He really doesn't know how to deal with any of this. Thinking of them less like things he has to take care of might be the best coping mechanism, even if Chevrolet is slowly growing on him.

...It's the teeth and pink fin.] Some actual electric types, 'cause I'd be way more comfortable with those.

I...I-I don't really know. S-sorry. But...they had a really large selection...so they might! ...i-if you want I could...maybe show you where they are. I-if you don't know, of course!

[But electric types...]

U-um. The Pichu egg I have...that will hatch into an electric type...

I knew you'd want to hear it...all right, it goes like this.

[ ...Well, she hoped, anyway. She likes getting to share stuff. ...Also, Tsumiki should prepare herself and also get a badge for getting the most Nanami talk in one session. ]

A long time ago in Ecruteak, the people built two towers, in the hopes that this would help strengthen the bonds of friendship and hope between the Pokémon and the humans living there. In the west there was the Brass Tower, which was said to awaken Pokémon. In the east there was the Bell Tower, where Pokémon were said to rest. And in a way, the people's hopes were met...because at the top of each of these towers a bird Pokémon came to rest, each of them unlike any that had ever been seen before.

[ It must have been an amazing sight...and really, she's seen artwork of what people imagined it must have looked like, so long ago. ]

However, one day a bolt of lightning came down and struck the Brass Tower. It was consumed in fire, and burned for three days until it finally rained. Unfortunately...at that time, when it rained, the tower has already been burnt to the ground. Within it, three nameless Pokémon had perished.

But then one of the bird Pokémon descended from the sky to bring them back to life. In each of those Pokémon was said to be one of the three powers: the lightning that struck the tower, the fire that burned the tower, and the rain that washed away the fire. When they revived, those who saw them rise were scared...and the three Pokémon fled like the wind, never to be seen again.

The great bird Pokémon also flew away, never to be seen again...though the legend then goes that when the souls of Pokémon and human commune, there will come the emergence of a Trainer who has the ability to touch the souls of Pokémon...and on that day Ho-oh, the bird Pokémon who raised the three burnt Pokémon, will return.

[ Nanami trails off here, before picking up again. ]

That sounds like a protagonist character's job, right? I should tell Hinata-kun to keep an eye out for them. ...Anyway, I want to see both of the Towers myself...The Bell Tower and the Burnt Tower...

[...It's really not wise for him to be left alone with her. He can already hear Kuzuryuu cursing him out now. But it's not like he's going to be able to avoid her for forever. They're staying at the same place, after all.]

Yeah, I've got no idea where those guys are. I got lost in the cabin we used for the party, don't think I'm gonna be able to find some place a few miles or so away. [Curse his bad sense of direction.] ...Hell, I don't even know how much of a walk it is from the hotel.

[Kuzuryuu did say he could ring him up if he had trouble, right?]

At this, Belphe inclines her head slightly in confusion.

"Is someone rushing you along?"

It's been her experience most people here are more than familiar with the previous towns as they stop over to train in them before proceeding. But then again, maybe this girl has a demanding master, just as Belphe and her sisters did in their proper world who won't allow for dawdling once she has a bee in her bonnet about something.

"A-ah..." She nods a little, because...well. Okay she wasn't being rushed, she was choosing to travel with Kuzuryuu. Or Kuzuryuu was choosing to take her along really. So maybe she was being rushed?

"But...Kuzuryuu-san really needed...to get to Goldenrod. So..." So they had to hurry. No big deal really, right?

N-not terribly far from the hotel...

[She smiles a little.] ...if you wanted to, we could meet at the inn...a-and I could take you from there.

[Souda...Souda she is literally the last person you should feel threatened by.]

Darlin'? That's a first, innit, Caesar? [But he says it fondly enough to show he isn't being too serious.] I tend ta let mine wander, they come back most a the time.

[The appearance of the Audino sparks the Mime Jr's attention, leading Joker to pocketing his pad so he can let the little thing down with his good- and only really- hand. The Furret in the meantime is trying to shove its head underneath Tsukino's hand. Spoiled, what?]

Name's Joker, by the way. Don't mind my lot, they get curious about new folks. Well, most a them do.

[His two birds obviously aren't, with how the Skarmory is hiding behind his legs and the Tranquill is looking disapproving at things, but Joker isn't bothered by it.]

As Sloth, Belphe's very much an advocate for taking things at a leisurely pace. If Sho had insisted on dragging her from town-to-town with no time to settle in between...well, she'd have put a stop to that in short order.

"I see~ It's difficult being on someone else's schedule." And then, red eyes picking Tsumiki up and down briefly, she remarks "You look cold. Can you afford a coat?" before reaching out to pet the friendly-looking deerling.

It was nice, Nurse Joy and the Chansey are very kind and helpful, they're patient as well. I'm traveling at this point, so I haven't been able to do anything at the Pokemon Center, but I'm sure a Nurse Joy in another city would welcome me just the same.

[A pause, then she laughs.]

Oh--that's right--every Pokemon Center is run by a woman named Nurse Joy, isn't that funny? They're all related they say, it's amazing! They all look so much alike!

My favorite...bandage? Uhh...hold on.

[He pulls his backpack off his back, rummaging through it momentarily before pulling out a box of band-aids and holding it up so Tsumiki can see.]

These ones!!

[...glow in the dark ghosts, apparently. These are quite possibly the dorkiest bandaids in existence if the box is to be believed. They're in varying shades of dark blues and purples, covered with various glow in the dark ghost types.]

[She listens intently as Nanami explains the legend, a little surprised by how much she's talking but she's not going to say anything about it. Just tilt her head as the story finishes.]

Protagonist character? And that sounds...really amazing. Pokemon like that really exist?

O-okay. ...thank you.

[Even though she agrees, it may be a while before she gets up the courage to ask Aradia anything.]

A-ah...I understand...mine are like that too...

[The Audino is happy to make your acquaintance, Mime Jr. And her trainer is happy to continue spoiling the Furret, offering it plenty of pets and scratches behind its ears and the like.]

It's...nice to meet you, Joker-san...I...I'm Tsumiki Mikan. And it's alright.

[Pokemon are one of the few things she can handle well in this place. She would never mind meeting more.]

They're...all very sweet.

[From what she can tell at least.]

"...a...a little. But...it's not so bad." The deerling is happy to take the petting, chirping and nuzzling back at her hand affectionately. "I'm just...glad he was willing to take me at all..." But oh, can she afford a coat? She is cold, and that was exactly the reason why she's out right now. Looking back at the window, she notes the prices before pulling out her wallet.

...barely. She can barely afford one. But a stranger doesn't need to know that.

"M-mm. I can. I am just...trying to decide which to get..."

Those...those are very cute...

[Seriously, they are. Glow in the dark bandaids are really cute and everyone should own some. Though she wonders what else they would put on bandaids now that she's seen these ones. She hadn't given it much thought before.

...sorry about the lapse into silence John. You're going to find out quickly that she's not very good at this conversing thing.]

E-eh? All of them? [Like yeah she saw the nurse in Violet and then the one in Goldenrod, but they're all run by people named Nurse Joy? A case of twins is believable but...]
